In art Gallery ‘Beelden bij Beljon’ I found a rusted iron socle. I think it was just what this sculpture needed: strong and firm it made the sculpture stand out.

I had the sculpture repatinated in a traditional color scheme favored by my patineur. It is beautiful, but It does not reveal all the youthful energy in this model

From the description in the only proper book on patination (‘Patinas in Silicon Bronze’ by Patrick Kipper) #144 seemed nice, but it didn’t quite work out as her body shapes got camouflaged.
